Allflo Pumps & Equipment was engaged to design and specify trade waste pumping systems for a new dairy manufacturing facility in Australia, where reliability, solids handling, and compliance were critical. Working closely with both the end user and the project tendering body, Allflo developed a complete wastewater pump package suited to the plant’s operating conditions and production demands.
The Solution:
Following application assessment, Remko RT and Remko RTH self-priming solids-handling pumps were selected. Key pump features included self-priming capability with rapid re-priming if prime is lost, ability to dry run without damage, hard-faced mechanical seals for extended service life, stainless steel trim on impeller, wear plate and seal plate, and full Australian support with local stock.
To complement the pump selection, Allflo’s in-house engineering team designed and manufactured complete pump packages featuring heavy-duty anti-flex base frames, load-rated couplings matched to duty requirements, and pressure relief valves for pump and system protection.
Outcome:
The final solution delivered a reliable, durable trade waste pumping system capable of handling solids-laden wastewater generated in dairy processing operations, while supporting long-term plant performance and maintainability.
