Remko RWPP Series Wellpoint Dewatering Pumps
Wellpoint dewatering pumps remove groundwater to temporarily reduce the water table, enabling dry
conditions for underground construction, tunnelling, trenching, civil engineering and renovation works.
Piston pumps work on the positive displacement principle, pushing extracted groundwater to the discharge point. These pumps are optimised for shallow excavation sites where a series of small-diameter wellpoints must continuously draw water to maintain a safe, dry work zone. One of their main advantages is the ability to pump both water and air. In wellpointing, lowering the groundwater level often draws in large volumes of air. This capability, combined with their ability to run dry indefinitely, makes piston pumps particularly well-suited for wellpointing applications.
The Remko diesel driven Wellpoint Dewatering Piston Pump (RWPP) is a cost-effective solution for construction dewatering, mine site dewatering and ground water level control. The extremely quiet canopy is also ideally suited for densely populated areas where noise and safety levels are important. Featuring a highefficiency piston mechanism and reliable vacuum draw, Remko's unit is compact, mobile, and capable of handling entrained air, sandy water, and suspended fine solids without the performance issues typical of conventional centrifugal systems.
