Remko RCMT Close Coupled Mild Trash Pumps
The RCMT series are close-coupled self-priming pumps for light to moderate solids (10-
15mm). They fill a niche for everyday drainage and wastewater that isn’t as chunky as what
the RT/RTH handle. They cover smaller sizes (40–80mm) and often are electric-driven. Uses
include construction site sump, livestock effluent, or washdown water.
These centrifugal pumps have an open impeller design, and the built-in backflow preventer
avoids reverse siphoning when the pump is stopped and assures automatic re-priming at the
next start. The pump re-primes itself even if partially filled with liquid and with
completely empty suction pipe.
