The RS Self-Prime pump is designed to prime automatically. Follow these steps:
1. Ensure the suction line is properly connected and sealed
2. Fill the pump casing with water through the priming port
3. Start the pump and allow 30-60 seconds for priming
4. The pump will automatically draw water once primed
If the pump fails to prime, check for air leaks in the suction line.
